It looks like Kristoffer has created https://github.com/KristofferC/PackageCompilerX.jl (in the same naming spirit as PGFPlotsX).

Whatever he touches turns to gold, so I'm cautiously optimistic that things may be better this time around...

I am more than cautiously optimistic whenever Kristoffer and Tim Holy are involved!

I believe that it will be used in conjunction with https://github.com/timholy/SnoopCompile.jl/ and generated snooping for each package (https://github.com/timholy/SnoopCompile.jl/pull/49 ) is going to happen.

But lets give this a month or so to settle down and figure out what is happening.

Always happy to hold off whenever PackageCompiler is involved...

I'll add this to the appropriately distant milestone.
