I can work on this. Should the guide be aimed at tests in QuantEcon.jl specifically or julia at large?

Testing in julia is briefly introduced in the docs. Did you have something similar in mind? I could work on a notebook to show more test examples.

I think it makes sense to write a simple document that points to the Julia documentation page and then describes any additional conventions/procedures we have followed here in QuantEcon.

Does that make sense
