Failed to load default refresh DLL

Open Detrixukaon58 opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

That's mostly it. Whenever I try to run my program (in visual studio) it comes up with this error. First time using this engine, so I'm not too sure if I have set it up correctly but if there is anything I gotta do please tell me.

Thanks!!

I've now tried running the executable from the build folder and that sorts the refresh DLL issue, but it now comes up with an Error during Initialization: Cannot find any shaders!

Not too sure what to do about this...

The engine doesn't come with any data whatsoever. You can find most of it here: https://github.com/Qfusion/rapid

As of now, the project is a dormant state, so I'm not sure whether it should even bother

I did use that prototype project before and it didn't do anything. Is there anything specific about the cmake process that I need to do to ensure the shader files are included?

I think the easiest thing you can do is copy base*.pk3 files from either warsow or warfork in base folder of rapid
