PS: the bug report template description points to a Discord server for support, but is read-only. Thanks
~~This is likely a discord client/server limitation. I remember looking in to it, I couldn't remember the result~~ The above comment was made with regard to making discord integrated replies. Not ones where you just quote the message which seems to be the intent of this plugin
If that's the case, then which client and server configuration allows the plugin to work ?
You can't reply to the message in a different channel since the message doesn't exists in the other channel. Not sure if it's this what your talking about

What ? I thought that was precisely what this plugin was about.
Allows you to reply to messages outside of the channel they were sent in.
Probably as a Quote like:
Referenced Message
Your Answer in a different Channel
Well, nothing like that happens either.
But, with all due respect, I would prefer receiving answers from a maintainer who really knows what the plugin is actually supposed to do, or a user who really uses it and knows what it actually does.
Thanks
