Google and duckduckgo link to docs for very old versions of pyo3
If I google for pyo3, I find: https://pyo3.rs/v0.10.1/ DuckDuckGo gives me: https://pyo3.rs/v0.15.1/
Both for quite old versions. Not sure whether there is anything that you all can fix here, but thought you might like a heads up.
I think we should be able to set headers on the netlify pages to force search engines to index only the latest docs. I last attempted this in #3264 but likely missed something.
Have we tried adding sitemap to the built website? Maybe we can try adding this to the netify.toml: https://github.com/netlify-labs/netlify-plugin-sitemap
Great idea to add a sitemap, I don't think we have one. I think that plugin might break if we implement #5081, but maybe https://github.com/rust-lang/mdBook/issues/1491 gives us solutions?
Right now I think we are blocked by https://github.com/rxdn/mdbook-sitemap-generator/issues/7 but yes we can add that when this got resolved
