i2pd-android

No indication or instruction as to how to connect to I2P
Place the ip:port to connect to, similarly to main screen of PrimitiveFTPd
There no ip:port, or something like this.
On computer, to utilize I2P, user needs to set proxy to localhost:4444
.
Isn't it the same for the phone app?

I second this request - I cannot access via browser localhost:4444
How do I use the app?

The goal of https://github.com/i2papp is to create an app for dummies and advanced users. I currently have little time for it, though.

You can also use InviziblePro application which is better than i2pd-android.
I don't think it is a matter of advanced or novice.
Yet, I'm in favor of i2pd-android to make a few adjustments and improvements that will give us, new people, an easier way to learn what happens in I2P and how it is different than other mesh networks.
The log of PrimitiveFTPd is similar to the log of Norton Commander which also gave indication as to what happens when files are transferred.
Let me tell you this, the newer "Fastboot" screens of mobile devices display a bunny with a toy and a hat and provide no on-screen indication whatsoever, in contradiction to what it used to be.
No on-screen indication is not something I advocate nor do I advocate a (too) verbal indication, unless the verbal indication is optional.
Unlike InviziblePro which has three (3) on-screen logs, i2pd-android would probably have just one which would, similarly to PrimitiveFTPd, be displayed directly to user without selecting a log.
So not only I advocate several projects to do similar things, but I also advocate i2pd-android to provide a log because it has a specific niche for I2P.
