Unable to combine Grease Pencil tools with Geometry Nodes on Mac

Great Pencil told looks really exciting and I have downloaded Blender 4.02 for Mac to be able to access it

Have tried to use a GP stroke as a basis for Geometry Nodes as shown at https://youtu.be/1dePmVKNU4E?si=XUdziSM08VtbCK-G&t=19

However Blender does not recognise the grease pencil object as the basis for creating geometry nodes: It is impossible to pick on "new" in Geometry Nodes when the GP stroke is selected.

Hoping that this is a feature under development for Mac.

Hi, GPv3 (with geometry node compatibility) is still in experimental state and not ready yet. I'm not part of the official GP team, so I can't say what is developed and what is not. But GPv3 is supposed to go in blender 4.2.0 or 4.3.0... so you just have to wait

And just to clarify, the Grease pencil tools addon is only compatible with GPv2.
