Grease Pencil "Canvas Plane" Save

Is there feature in this addon that can quickly "save" canvas plane of grease pencil object? For example we might have multiple grease pencil and drawing from multiple angle. I wish to be able to "return" to the right canvas when drawing on different grease pencil. Similar to Mental Canvas and "Canvas List".

Hi Jimmy, there is no options related to this I can think of right now.

But the thing is, if the draw axis is constrained to Front, Side or Top, it's the rotation of the GP object that define the canvas plane, so that should work for you by orienting each object before drawing. Except if you need multiple canvas plane per object...

I'll try download Mental Canvas tonight (GMT+1) to see the use case.

@enzyme69 maybe I misunderstand your need. I tried mental canvas on Ipad, and I can't see one thing in the app that Grease pencil cannot do in Blender vanilla. Can you elaborate ? (Also can you send a link to canvas list ?)

Maybe you want to "face" your some object GP canvas again ? In that case a little Shift + numpad_1 should do the trick (if you want to draw on it's front axis)

Mental canvas organization canvases > layers is the same in blender GP objects > layers
