iCade Key Map
A = uf
B = hr
C▲ = kp
C▼ = jn
C◀ = yt
C▶ = im
Z = lv
Start = og
L = kp
R = im
Left axis = aq
Right axis = dc
Top axis = we
Down axis = xz
Left pad = aq
Right pad = dc
Up pad = we
Down pad = xz
As you can see, the Axis and Pad are exactly the same keys, so, I think that a posible solution could be modify a little the code, to choose between Pad or Axis for the default configuration.
I not pretty sure if I explain me.
I understand. That's a shame if they are sending same keys for d-pad and another directional output from the controller meaning there isn't a means to distinguish which is which but to force a mode toggle as an interpreter on the input side. I keep a note about this for MFi+ (iCade+ in this case) mode additions.
I can confirm I’m using one of the 8bit do n64 conversion kits in an n64 controller and it’s found and connects in iOS but it does not respond to any inputs unfortunately
