Nintendo DS (NDS) Support
Nintendo DS has a large game collection graphics that would map nicely to the TV.
OpenEMU already has it supported as DeSmuME.
Search github for Nitrogen. It's already a working Nintendo DS emulator for iPhones. It has a couple compile issues in iOS 9, but fixes are provided in the reported Issues.
Otherwise, since Provenance is built to run on tvOS as well, Nintendo DS does not seem practical, since the bottom screen is touch input based.
It would be cool if an iOS device could serve as the bottom screen and the tv could act as the top screen. Probably too much work though.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with and thank you for your support!
Sincerely,

https://github.com/NitrogenEmulator/Nitrogen hasn't been updated in a year. It is somewhat optimized for IOS devices since it is based off the developers previous emulator NDS4IOS . The emulator is also based on DeSmuME which is supported by open emu. I am not sure how coding would work out for this but maybe the core used in Nitrogen should be used as a core in provenance. I don't believe it would take too much coding or time to get it working or to polish it. When using the emulator on the apple TV maybe the iPhone or ipad can double up as the second screen and the controller.
iNDS was released recently which seems to work well.
Any updates here?
