DankNull can not be extracted via terminal

Open Preta-Crowz opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug /dank/null can not be extracted from AE network on terminal if /dank/null has more than two oreDict conversion rules saved.

To Reproduce

  1. Craft any /dank/null.
  2. Insert any two item that has oreDict to /dank/null.
  3. Enable and disable oreDict conversion to save them on its NBT.
  4. Insert /dank/null to AE Network.
  5. Item will updated very fast and it makes user can't extract /dank/null via terminal..

Expected behavior /dank/null should not be updated inside network and should be extracted via terminal.

Additional context btw, /dank/null can be extracted via export bus with fuzzy card.

Environment

  • Minecraft Version: 1.12.2

  • AE2 Version: rv6-stable-7-extend_life-v0.52.4

  • Forge Version: 14.23.5.2860

  • SP/MP : Multiplayer

  • Server Software : Forge, 14.23.5.2860

  • Modpack Used : Divine Journey 2, 2.14.2

  • DankNull Version : 1.7.101

There's not really much of anything that can be done about this.

Don't put things that have a ton of NBT data tags on them into your ME system (most modded containers like satchels, crates, strongboxes, AE2 disks, etc.), as they will cause NBT overflow. If you're lucky it will just make it annoying to remove through workarounds like what you've mentioned, otherwise it could corrupt data.

I know too long NBT can cause corruption but this one can cause this issue too. Short NBT. Yes. Put long NBT things to network is another problem with this issue.
