Why is there no FOSS build of ProtonVPN published on Github?

We are happy to answer your questions about the code or discuss technical ideas.

Currently only FOSS builds of ProtonVPN are available on F-Droid but this is not ideal for people who would prefer to get builds of apps directly from the developers, like through Github.

They don't provide any FOSS build themselves, they uploaded the app on F-Droid and F-Droid is forced to remove the non-free dependencies as it's against their policies. Proton is slowly becoming like the GAFAM. And now there is also some sneaky spyware in the app: #176
