NetShield Improvements and restore previous feature

We used to be able to customise NetShield to allow adverts but block other trackers? Is it possible to have that back please?

Also, it would be extremely useful to have a passthrough to allow vpn connections through certain apps with custom showing/hiding advertisements rules. Perhaps if app 'x' is being used adverts are temporarily unblocked until app is no longer being used
