Updating app wrong version number

Expected Behavior

if I update or install the app, the correct version number should always be written into the windows registry

Current Behavior

if I update the app with the in app Updater the version number reported to Windows does not change

Possible Solution

Always write the correct version in the registry

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install app
2. update app with in app updater 3.look in Windows settings -> old version number

Version Information

3.3.2 and 3.4.2

Context (Environment)

Updater / package management software (like WinGet) doesn't work currently
