Amount of song currently played

I have my event_command file output quite a bit of song data on songstart, which includes the songDuration and songPlayed (which is always 0 obviously).

Is there an event that is triggered during song play that will continually update the songPlayed value so I can track where in the song pianobar is currently at, or any other method of tracking this?
