Styling highlighting

I would like the highlights created using the search API to stand out more. Currently you can use fillStyle for t he color and globalAlpha for the opacity. Maybe it would come in handy if you could set a border property ( width, style and color) and a padding value, so that the highlight can be a bit larger than the word itself.
