osrm-extract fails to execute

I tried to extract routing information using osrm-extract. While the process succeeded for a small country like Azerbaijan, it failed for Great Britain and Germany. Any insights into what might be causing this issue? I'm running Debian 12 with 16GB of RAM, but the process doesn't progress beyond 8GB.
