I have tested this fix to be successful on both mac os and ios

there's still several things to fix:

  1. in session.conf, <listen>launchd:env=DBUS_LAUNCHD_SESSION_BUS_SOCKET</listen> should change to unix tmpdir set like <listen>unix:tmpdir=/tmp</listen>. This probably has been fixed by patches.
  2. We have pw already, so a new user "messagebus" has to be added.
