setup instructions help

Open Gam-7 opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

Hi and thanks for providing this, I just wonder can you elaborate slightly on the setup instructions?

it says this assumes you have a linux host but then says Install sqlite for Windows

can you provided more details of the setup you have please?, eg are you running sqlite via mono on linux? are you running vrs on a windows box or via mono on a linux box . Is it just your webserver thats using linux ? I think your site is fab and was just hoping to set up everything using a pi, if its feasible?

i wanted to ask the exact same question as gam-7 :-D couldnt manage to find out what kinda setup he uses.. i'm on a linux host & dont want to have another host running windows.. since i'm running arch-linux i could easily install XAMPP with phpmyadmin and the xampp gui through the AUR.. but somehow the sql-server plugin cant connect to the mysql DB yet.. guess i have missed sth..

SQLITE3.exe is if your VRS runs on Windows ... if you are fully running VRS on Linux under Mono, you can do all of this under Linux.
