CocoaPod release won't compile

Open jdraymon opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

The last CocoaPod release of Sparrow's SPEventListener fails to compile because of the old version of objc_msgSend(). I see that it's been updated in the repo but the last tagged release(2.1) still has the old version. Could you release a new version?

Thanks for the heads-up! Yes, a new version is already the works and will be released in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! =)

We're also looking forward to this ... we're switching over to CocoaPods and we're currently on 61ab8f6e06e3e6a0a9c1a6e66172109a8515f059 (i.e. master of the Gamua fork) but I'm currently in a position where I'm being forced to make a Sparrow pod myself because the one in Specs doesn't work for us.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been any update on this — as you noticed. :pensive:

It turned out that both me and @racarone don't have time to do much work on Sparrow any longer, at least for the time being. There hasn't been very much interest in it, either, to be honest (the result of having Apple's SpriteKit as an alternative, and of a slower progress in Sparrow in the timer after SK's release). Sorry! 👎
