Searches with the $ symbol don't provide results

Describe the bug

When using the Web app, doing a search for a stock symbol using $ gives no results.

However, when I do a search for the stock symbol WITHOUT the $ symbol, it does show up, including results that include the $symbol

Today was a big day for Nvidia, so I did a search for $NVDA and NVDA and only without the symbol could I get any results.
