Password requirements

There's a common issue that I've noticed as a support helper, where people use a symbol not available on the 3ds or wii u keyboard for their username and/or password, I think you guys should implement a countermeasure that makes sure people don't input those symbols, similar to how some websites require alphanumerics only, and ban anything else. I do hope you consider this and thank you!

Which characters exactly? If I remember correctly, so long as you have the correct language set for the keyboard the on-screen keyboard on both consoles has the full range of characters as seen on a standard keyboard when entering passwords?
