request add support : Tornado 32ES1500E channel list dot xml
Thanks for your sample file. Currently this specific format is not supported by ChanSort, but the file's content looks VERY similar to the Philips ChannelMap_100 format, so I think I can add support for it.
In your satellite list, which channel do you see under number 2? Is it "Azhari" or "Al Kahera Wal Nas"?
The reason I ask is because there are 2 different numbers "presetnumber" and "MajorChanNO" in the file and I don't know which of the two the TV uses.
This is how the satellite list looks like when the "presetnumber" is used:

that tv is dvbt2/s2 , so there are should be two channel list at the above .xml (s2 channels and t2 channels) , i'll test it at this weekend and tell you again .
tested ChanSort_2024-05-05 and can open and sort _CHTB_DO_NOT_DELETE.xml , thank you very much for it .
but have an issue : uploading sorted channel list to my tv but tv still see the original list before sorting it .
i did reset my tv to factory default did new search channels download the channel list from tv to usb flash sorted channels and save upload the new channel list to usb flash upload the new channel list to tv but tv don't see my sorted channels .

i think "presetnumber" and "MajorChanNO" should be change to be the same number . i did a test to dvb-t channels , open _CHTB_DO_NOT_DELETE.xml with notepad++ (sort manully take a lot of time): change
presetnumber="3" name="Aloula Ardhia" MajorChanNO="3"
and change presetnumber="4" name="Nile News" MajorChanNO="4"
and change presetnumber="1" name="Time Sport HD" MajorChanNO="1"
and change presetnumber="2" name="Nile Sport" MajorChanNO="2"
the result is
also i delete the radio channels from dvb-t list and the result is they removed from the list
can you make ChanSort re-arrange both presetnumber and MajorChanNO to be the same number ?

@CompuMohssen I was out of town for several days and didn't have any time to look at this. The files your TV exported are completely different from what mmmm-sbi's TV exports, so this is a separate issue.
ChanSort already supports a dozen or more variations of channel lists which look like yours, but they all need a specific configuration in order to be loaded. If you can send me your complete list I can take a look and try to add support for it
Your list is already supported by ChanSort version from 2023 and later. I was able to open the dtv_cmdb_2.bin file without issues. (You can select any of the .bin files with a size > 0KB to load the complete list)
I can't give any advice on how to update the TV's firmware. I'm an independent PC software developer, working on ChanSort in my free time as a hobby, and only have access to the 3 TVs in my home.
