HiSense Senderliste

Open bsnf opened this issue 9 years ago • 15 comments

Hi, can anybody decode this channel list from "Hisense TV" (LTDN40K321UWTSEU) (HIS_FAV.bin, HIS_SVL.bin , HIS_TSL.bin) ? Hisense-ltdn40k321uwtseu.zip

At first run all channel fine sorted (alphabetic, 1... 300++) Next "automatische Sendersuche" (alphabetic, but start from 3...300++) Now 'ARD' starts with 10, ZDF with 28.

It is possible to change this back to 1,2,... ?

Contact and ask your manufacturer, please. http://hisense.de/service/kontakt

It is hard to reverse-engineer all proprietary file formats for channel lists of all manufacturers.

BTW: Why a German title and English text?😉

how do I find out which hisense export does work with Chansort? We have a hotel mode that exports a hotel_db2.bin. I read, that the newer DB Format is supported, but as it's a low budget Model LHD32D50, I am not sure if it uses new or old format?

Thanks Patrick

My new Hisense 43" UHD TV exports the channel list to "channel.db" file and ChanSort reads it perfectly.

As of June 2016, the "UHD Smart" models with firmware V00.01.00a.G0422 generate the channel.db file format that is supported by ChanSort.

If your TV is not advertised as both "UHD" and "Smart", then it will most likely use a different file format (with different file names), which is not supported by ChanSort. I tried to support the older format too, but from what I can tell there are no safety mechanisms which would prevent a user from loading wrong files into the TV and potentially damaging it. "wrong" is hard to define, but may include files you saved with some older firmware than the one that's currently installed on your TV (which could have be upgraded automatically in the meantime).

For the old binary format there is a tool from HiSense directly:

Hello, do you still have the tool? Unfortunately there is no more file at the link

Many thanks in advance

There is beta-build of ChanSort that supports the old HIS_SVL.BIN format. I just finished that a few days ago: https://chansort.com/ChanSort_2023-01-18.zip

Haven't gotten any feedback yet if it actually works or not.

Hi, tried the version, unfortunately it does not open my Hisense file. My file is also: HIS_DVB.BIN and not HIS_SLV.BIN I can also provide the file otherwise.

can you send me your file please? So far I have only 2 samples of HIS_DVB.BIN, which is a format not supported (yet) as you noticed. With some sample files I might be able to add support for it too.

HIS_DVB.zip

No problem. I hope it helps a little

Here's a new build of ChanSort that can load/save HIS_DVB.BIN channel lists: https://chansort.com/ChanSort_2023-01-23.zip Please let me know if it works for you.

Thank you very much. It now works without any problems. I can edit all the channels. Many thanks for the quick support

Hello, I also have a HIS_DVB.BIN for a Hisense. The file is unreadable with the current version of "ChanSort_2023-06-01". HIS_DVB.zip Can someone help me please.

quirl5 avatar Jun 09 '23 14:06 quirl5

Hi quirl5! Your file has a different internal layout than the other HIS_DVB.BIN file's I have seen so far. It will take some time to analyze the format and modify ChanSort to support it.
