block users from tweets

the #BlocktheBlue bot is dead because of a lack of api access, but since it is easy to find bluecheck users via search filters, all that is needed is a method to block users. would it be possible to implement blocking? this might be slightly more complicated than, say, retweets, but the block button is in the overflow menu on all tweets.
