Add rain map as a regular element
Problem Statement
Right now the rain map differs from all other statistics. It has a dedicated button in the top right. Instead of being in flow with the other elements.
What the button means is not clear from the button itself. Until you click it.
Proposed Solution
Offer a link to the rain map that can be added to the flow of other elements on the page.
Alternatives Considered
Having the dedicated button is also nice. I just think it could be cool to have the map in flow as well. It is less easy to overlook its existence.

Closed as not planned? What don't you like about it?
@PhoenixIV The API used in v1 is getting discontinued and might break the app, so unless I find a new one, there won’t be any radar for now.
Ah, okay, so this is more of a "depends on another issue" type of situation and not a general "not a good idea"? 👍
Just here to say that your app is really amazing! The only feature I miss is a rain radar, that would be great. Have you found a working API for that yet? Overmorrow is using the RainViewer API, but it seems like it will be discontinued in the future.
@ImxFelix Thank you for the kind words! :P Sadly, I haven’t found any usable API for radar. The RainViewer API is now very limited as it’s being discontinued, so it wouldn’t really be useful
If you do not mind let me add an idea about rain map data sources here. Feel free to open an extra ticket for that.
I guessed that some countries might have open APIs. My first thought was "The Netherlands" (love them) and indeed immediately found this: https://dataplatform.knmi.nl/dataset/preview/radar-forecast-2-0
Check the complete website for more: https://dataplatform.knmi.nl/
IF this is of any use to you (I did not deep dive into that) you might be able to offer good maps for chosen countries.
Best case this results in a library that unifies multiple APIs of different countries into a single one.
