UI adjustment for Tablets
Describe your issue
- The location selection section takes up half of the screen; it would be better to make it appear only in landscape mode (and should be redesigned to select days instead of location) and expand the weather-data section further to the left.
- The plus sign is way too big.
-
There is no landscape mode.
Landscape mode could look somthing like this:
@lakshay487 should be in the next version
Also pleeeaaaseee add a good landscape mode!
Have you tried using Set Orientation ?
It's almost all the way down on this page, It says it's for older devices but still works on a lot of devices today. using on my nvidia shield

Setting the orientation will probably break the UI because the app checks the device width to make adjustments. This approach is likely better since it gives me more control over the design.
@PranshulGG hey! Any updates on landscape mode?

@lakshay487 Yep, just trying to rearrange the layout.
Wouldn't it be better if there are days instead of locations on the left panel? Location can be selected from the bar at top and there's rarely a need to change it. Though it's not bad either.

Yeah, that could work too. The issue is that both are different containers, so I can't just move them to the left. I was planning to make the tablet layout similar to how Breezy Weather does it, same layout, but with a closable side panel
