Can't ssh to my windows pc after ssh-add ~\.ssh\id_ed25519

What is failing
I was following the steps in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/openssh/openssh_keymanagement
so I add the ed25519 key pair. After that, I couldn't sign in to the server, I deleted and reinstalled OpenSSH and even changed config ssh but I still couldn't get in the server with my password
To make sure I understand the issue correctly - you setup key-based authentication per the provided link, but now neither key-based or password authentication works?
Can you provide the error message you're getting when you try to ssh to the machine? ssh -vvv username@host will provide additional client-side debug information.

@woreom I can't repro this error on Windows 11. I would expect to see a log message like this in your logs:
"debug1: Offering public key: C:\\Users\\<username>/.ssh/id_ed25519 ED25519 SHA256:/<random characters> agent"
But I don't see it, so I just want to make sure that everything is set up correctly. This behavior is consistent with ssh-agent not running, so could you ensure that the ssh-agent is running by running "Get-Service ssh-agent"? Also, can you ensure that the correct key was properly added to the agent by running "ssh-add -l", and also double check if the public key was properly added to the "authorized_keys" file in the server.
W11 with 9.2p1.
After adding an ed25519 keypair for a new server, all existing keys (RSA) broke (still listed in the agent), and I could no longer access servers that had password auth. I could auth fine with the new server using the newly generated key.
Each existing server (regardless of keypair or password auth) responded with "too many authentication attempts". SSH logs on the server show they (whether keypair or password) were being offered an unknown key.
Flushing all keys from the agent and re-adding them fixed this issue.
