ACR work priority
Summary of the new feature / enhancement
There seems to be a lot of work going on to make this work with ACR, while I don't disagree with that as an idea, wouldn't it be better to fix the massive list of existing issues first?
Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

Thanks for opening this issue and starting this discussion...we are absolutely continuing to work on bug fixes, and have a patch release we are working on at the moment
In terms of prioritizing the ACR scenario we are doing this to alleviate some compliance work related to PSGallery (it helps us better meet partner team requests) so we think over the medium term it will hopefully free up more time for bug fixes/feature work
@SydneyhSmith Can your team shed some light on what the [approximate] expected release cadence will be for the next patch release (presumably 1.0.2)? Even a rough scale (days, weeks, months, quarters, etc.) would be greatly appreciated here.
PSResourceGet 1.0.1 has a number of bugs with on-prem Artifactory feeds that @alerickson and I have merged fixes for, but until the next patch is GAed I can't provide tangible guidance to the rest of my team for usage in their dev workflows.
We're currently moving our internal PowerShell codebases to a more modernized package management workflow, and not having a workable solution for downloading said packages post-publish has hindered that effort. I want to manage expectations with the rest of my team so we can defer the remainder of this work to a future sprint.
@sean-r-williams we are targeting early next week, we have a goal of getting this release into the next 7.5 preview so we are prioritizing patch work over other work at the moment
It would be better if the speed of development here wasn't so incredibly slow. The DSC v3 repository has almost as many commits as this one, and that isn't even released. The package manager should be the most important project after PowerShell itself IMO.
@SydneyhSmith - Now that ACR support has been released will there be some focus on fixing the big list of bugs that have been reported?
