Stuttering motion on Chrome and Edge

Hello,

In this website I am creating, I experience stuttering when the photos are entering, while dragging them horizontally, and when a photo is clicked and zoomed. This happens in Chrome, and Edge (so it seems to be webkit related). It works fine on Firefox. I am not sure if this is really a bug, or I there is something badly coded on my part.
