Wonderful, beautiful comments! Thanks you! But I could not insert a picture? Rss is not read by readers unfortunately, there are no tags, time, author, only text. Perhaps you can find a way to fix this?
I wrote this code 7 years ago, I would frankly be surprised if it still works with a version of PHP above 5.5... that said, if someone wants to figure out how to work that in and file a PR, I'll happily merge it in.
It is unfortunate that you stopped developing this wonderful script! I saw you went to the discus. But im just trying to get away from it now, it's getting too slow, loads stuff, with ads and also steals cookies and ... migration of large sites doesnt work, so i can take comments for 7 years on my site only by copying. So be careful with it, make backup more often! And of course now im looking comments that will be kept by me :) And I'm not alone, as i see it. So if you finish the script, maybe he'll shoot at the top :)
I left PHP development, I have no idea what's best practice is given PHP 7.2, and if I were to write this script today I would quite likely do it very differently. I don't intend to relearn PHP, though, so I will happily look at PR's, but will not do any further development on it myself.
