I'm very new to this project. Could u help me to understand why some tests are failing? I suspect that `configure.ac` is wrong, or?

Okay. Thanks for your help! :D I think I was able to fix my other snmp6 PR, too. :) I will test everything again.

I made the dhpleasefile now configurable. :)

for me it looks good. furthermore, this is just an intermediate step to switch to 6.6 kernel. i think also @hauke comments are resolved. so we can proceed and merge...

Okay, I will do a PR for dropping this target. Let's see.

Why still WIP? I would also already pull the first commit into the main if that is fine.
