Communicator chat icons are broken

Brief description of the issue

the thing in chat that shows someone talking from a communicator does not show

What you expected to happen

for the communicator icon in chat to show

What actually happened

one person here is talking from a communicator, but it shows normally

Steps to reproduce

go into a communicator call with someone and have them talk

Additional info:

I wasn't the one holding the communicator, I was listening to the call.

okay, oddly, they did work in a different round, so I'm not sure if it might've just been an issue in that one round, it'll need more checking
