Proposed new Solanum traits

I am in the process of mapping GRIN:Descriptors extracted from a Samara scrape to terms in the TO. Where I could not find a matching trait in the TO, I will suggest a new term. Here are a few I have so far:

Calyx prickle number: parent: calyx morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) def: A calyx morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) which is the number of prickles (unsure on plant part causing prickles) on a calyx (PO:0009060)

fruit abscission zone morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) parent: portion of plant tissue morphology trait(TO:0000843) def: which is the quality of a fruit abscission zone (PO:0006503)

*would also move fruit abscission zone size (TO:0002632) to this new parent.

fruit abscission zone condition parent:fruit abscission zone morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) def: A fruit abscission zone morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) which is the condition of a fruit's abscission zone (PO:0006503).

fruit abscission zone shape parent:fruit abscission zone morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) def: A fruit abscission zone morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) which is the shape of a fruit's abscission zone (PO:0006503).

testa color parent: portion of plant tissue morphology trait (TO:0000843) def: A portion of plant tissue morphology trait (TO:0000843) which is the color of a testa (PO:0020057) synonyms: gel color

leaflet morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) parent: cardinal organ part morphology trait (TO:0000754) def: A cardinal organ part morphology trait (TO:0000754) which is a quality of a leaflet (PO:0020049).

leaflet size parent: leaflet morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) def: A leaflet morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) which is the size of a leaflet (PO:0020049).

leaflet shape parent: leaflet morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) def: A leaflet morphology trait (TO:xxxxxxx) which is the shape of a leaflet (PO:0020049). synonyms: leaflet type

locule number parent: fruit morphology trait (TO:0002629) def: A fruit morphology trait (TO:0002629) which is the number of locules (PO:0025263) in a fruit (PO:0009001)

In uberon we have a bunch of morphological feature classes analogous to this for dumps, grooves, protrusions etc. They are a bit anatomically and ontologically unsatisfying, but they are useful.

I'd recommend putting prickly parts in PO.
