This is a continuation of [plant-ontology-po-term-requests:#472]

shoot system meristem (PO:0006079) was recently renamed from the original "shoot meristem".

shoot system meristem (PO:0006079): A portion of meristem tissue (PO:0009013) that is part of a shoot system (PO:0009006).

Currently has only three child terms: axillary bud meristem (PO:0000232); intercalary meristem (PO:0006073); shoot apical meristem (SAM; PO:0020148)- dual parentage with apical meristem (PO:0020144). Currently not a parent term to many of the other portions of meristem tissue in the shoot system, such as the

I feel this term is somewhat redundant- it should either be inclusive of all the meristems of the shoot system, or it should be obsoleted. Having it forces dual parentage on most of the other shoot meristems such as SAM, shoot lateral meristem (PO:0006344) and the shoot system ground meristem (new PO:0025595). They should each be is_a children of their respective meristem types, and part_of shoot system.
