Unread badge counter is not refreshed when unfollowing planet

Reproducibility: always

Steps:

1. Follow a planet with blog posts.
2. Without reading any blog posts, unfollow the planet.

What happened: Planet is unfollowed but the unread badge counter under the Smart Feeds is not refreshed.

Expected result: Planet is unfollowed and the unread badge counter under the Smart Feeds is refreshed.

Now the bug is of a different nature.

The unread count in the smart feeds is automatically zero, even though you just followed a planet with unread posts.

The total unread count is updated when checking for updates or unfollowing, but it is not updated during the initial follow. I'll fix it next. Thanks a lot!
