Change default brightness for MX Keys?

This is a question, not an issue. I've been trying to find information on this but had no luck. Would it be possible somehow to set the default brightness for an MX keys keyboard? Mine currently is too bright by default and I have to end up pressing the "brightness down" button to get it back where I like it. However, this happens constantly because of my setup where I switch around to a lot of different machines for work. I find that I'm constantly riding the brightness button, and it's gotten very annoying. The default brightness also drains power faster than the brightness I prefer, so being able to pin the keyboard down to a lower brightness would be fantastic.
