Public activity for automating on/off the service

I miss some way to automate turning the service On and Off. It would be great if you guys could provide a activity that could be triggered with some automation app (Tasker for example) so that the service starts when a specific device is connected and stops when it's disconnected.

I would sure love this.
I don't want to rely on detecting streams, so I want to enable when certain apps are opened. Tasker could make this easy without granting risky DUMP permission, if there were an activity.
