No sound after X amount of time.

Hello,

Using the paid version of the app (in app purchase). Enhanced session detection active (both permissions granted).

After a little bit of time with Wavelet on, no sound comes out of the speakers in apps. I have to turn off wavelet for sound to work again.

This does not seem to affect phone calls or facebook/whatsapp calls.

Mi 11 with Lineage OS 18.1

If anymore information is required it can be provided.

Thanks

PS: If this can help, I had the exact same problem with Viper4Android on that same phone/Lineage 18.1!

Can reproduce on Pixel 6 Android 12.1

I start a playback session, and on some random occasions, audio stops physically coming out of speakers after a couple seconds. However, other apps (ex: navbar music visualizers) still recognize that the system is playing audio, and the media session/app's progress bar still keeps going as if it's still playing the media. Just nothing can be heard audibly. Turning off Wavelet via the Wavelet app power button allows the audio to be physically audible once again, until I turn Wavelet back on. The only way to get audio physically audible again with Wavelet powered on is to perform a very specific sequence of steps:

  • With the playback session playing, power off Wavelet from Wavelet app to make audio audible again
  • Pause the playback session
  • Power on Wavelet from Wavelet app
  • Resume the playback session Now audio will be physically audible with Wavelet running, for quite a long while until the bug randomly occurs again
