Description

At least for Xiaomi robots, the map extractor plugin does not work in a use case where the robots are firewalled into a guest WLAN (for security reasons).

The local IP of the robot is a mandatory configuration parameter and it needs to be in the same subnet as the device running HA.

Solution

It would be fine, if the map extractor could work in a "cloud-only" mode that does not require local IP connectivity (just like the Xiaomi App).

In this "cloud-only" mode the robot's local IP should be an optional parameter.
