How can users add more pumps?

If a user wants to add N pumps, how can they do this (ignore hardware limitations for now)?

[ ] Pump calibrations
[ ] Calculations like ThroughtputCalculator and AltMediaFractionCalculator, etc.
[ ] the UI won't display new pump controls or metrics.
