[what happened] temperature inference when vial isn't pressed all the way down into sleeve

So this is interesting. I was seeing some very wonky temperature inferences in one of the pioreactors: very noisy, very unstable:

Even the inference coefficients looks unusual: p=-0.008, q=-0.101, when normally p=-0.003, and q=-0.14 (±0.04).

When I physically inspected the vial, I was able to give it a very slight "push" down, and then it was secure on the bottom. After this, the coefficients looked more correct: p=-0.0029, q=-0.168, and the temperature inference was much more normal (pink line was physical correction):
