Beta builds in Flathub
Hello! I came across a previous post re: nightly builds (#880) which might be difficult to manage via Flathub, but how about periodical beta releases via Flathub Beta?
Considering the v2.2 release is mostly held back by Windows bugs, it would be great to be able to check out v2.2 a bit earlier on Linux. Thank you!
I think that is fine to do - the first step is that the flatpak build needs to be updated to be able to build the master branch, which has various dependency changes like GTK4
The flatpak package now has a beta branch, which has been updated to the Pinta 3.0 beta Setup instructions: https://docs.flathub.org/docs/for-users/installation#flathub-beta-repository
