Pinta text tool is not working
After carefully following the instructions in the Pinta User Guide, I cannot add text to my photos.
I created a Layer for the text. Then I selected the Text tool and clicked on the area where I wanted text to appear. Then I attempted to type in text. No text ever appeared. I tried left clicking and right clicking. I tried with and without specifying the font, size, and alignment. Nothing has worked/
My operating system is Linux Mint 22.1 and my Pinta version is 3.0.3
It's hard to say for sure, but did you have any selection active? Most effects / tools are typically clipped to only be applied within the selection bounds You could try using the Deselect All action (from the main toolbar, or Ctrl+Shift+A) to reset the selection
