Open Chatweazle opened this issue 4 months ago • 1 comments

Pinta can not open files on a drive mounted under /mnt/.

To Reproduce Try it yourself, d'uh!

Additional Info Gives me a "No such file or directory" error.

Version Pinta 3.0.3, Linux Mint 22.1 w/Cinnamon desktop

Quite honestly - who codes crap like this? Even open source software coders should be able to work with paths or devices. If you can't, just quit and have done with it.

Please use more respectful language when filing a bug report

Some additional details on the issue would be helpful:

  • Which method did you use to install Pinta? e.g. a snap or flatpak package
  • And are you opening the file by passing it on the command line, or through the file open dialog?

This is very likely to be a sandboxing related issue if you're using snap or flatpak (e.g. #1569)
