App Closed without any warning or error

Open RegressiaUK opened this issue 6 months ago • 3 comments

Description This has happened a few times since the new shitty UI, yes sorry I said it your bloody US makes no sense it's crap, it brakes work flow but anyway.

I was doing basic pixel editing I changed colour on the colour wheel and then went to go draw with it and the app just full closed, you have NO shadow saving/backing up there for any crash's like this you lose ALL work, thanks guys, I loved this app before the UI change, when it updated I didn't even get a option to revert I hate the changes and it's become so unstable.

I am sorry there is no error logs or anything but your software hasn't provided me one, if there is a log file anywhere let me know and I will provide it and I wont be running every app via terminal to grab error and that's only if you even sent the errors/logs back to it anyway.

Please give a option to drop back to the older UI and what did you change your app as become a very bad app over a very good app.

I am willing to offer any more tests or logs if you tell me where and how. P.S I will have to redo the work so if this overrides any logs already made I am sorry but I have work to do.

Pinta doesn't create any log files, but there would likely be some output if you had launched it from the terminal (if it's a hard crash, this could be crashing inside the GTK libraries)

Since it's so random I can't repeat it in a timely manner or I would try, if there is anything they/you want me to test I willing to but it's just said this as become like this I moved to Pinta because it was so much like Paint.Net the only paint app I used on windows but now I haven't used windows over a year I not using a VBox just to use that lol

For your UI concerns, does this help?

Restore a classic look to Pinta by enabling the "Menu Bar", available in the ☰ hamburger menu - View - Show / Hide - Menu Bar ✅
