I'm not really sure how to go about reproducing this .. It looks like it was constantly switching between two tools, so maybe there was a key being pressed down somehow?

it seems to be doing something with the history tab

Is this an issue that you can reproduce in a new session of Pinta? I'm really not sure how I can reproduce this to investigate, unfortunately

if you look att the history tab its constantly switching to first thing in history
