visuality Mod simply doesn't work

So I tried loading MC in with just fabric api, visuality, and cloth config but the mod still didn't work (as in there were no particles whatsoever, although everything in the mod was enabled).

There are no water splashes or mob particles or any of the mod's effects; it doesn't seem to be a mod conflict and I don't know how else to fix this.

make sure you have particles enabled in vanilla video settings

Update: I got everything working except the water splashes. for some reason, those don't work

How did you end up fixing this issue? I've been trying to figure everything out. The first issue was not having the fabric API that is now downloaded but other than that I have yet to find a way to fix this.

Some of the mod just eventually started working, but as mentioned, the water splashes and waterfall effects still don’t work, and I don’t know why or how to fix them.
