Conductive

Open khonkhortisan opened this issue 12 years ago • 2 comments

Makes non-standard rail conductive, so there doesn't have to be a mesecon line right next to it. Four-ways can now be powered without having a mesecon above/below it. Also makes t-intersection texture match the rest of the textures. Also makes rail connect to other rail types. Depends on https://github.com/minetest/minetest/pull/473 (rail disconnects from itself while turning on/off without this)

If all rails are conductive, how do you stop one section of power rail from being powered when another section is?

You would place a regular rail between them. There shouldn't be a reason to put an accelerator right before a brake. Besides, it looks like there's a mesecon under the rail. Mesecons works better static conducting rules.
