Unknown Processor Intel Core i5 6200U

Open jcrcarmo opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Hello there,

Greetings from Brazil! I followed the Piker-Alpha guide to the letter, but I get an error saying that my Intel Core i5 6200U processor is unknown, even though it is listed in the Skylake.cfg file. How can I solve this issue? Thank you for your time and help. Happy Holidays! :)

Best regards.

P.S: Here's the link to my processor at the ark.intel.com website:

Are you certain that you're using the latest Beta version? (https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh/tree/Beta)

Would you mind showing the full output of the script once you've executed it? (Showing the error in full.)

Edit: Also just try adding the following to 'User Defined.cfg' in the Data folder: i5-6200U,15,0,2300,2800,2,4,32,100 OR (if that doesn't work): i5-6200U,15,800,2300,2800,2,4,32,100

You pointed out the key factor here: I was NOT using the latest beta! Now that I am, everything is working as expected. Thanks a million for your help!

Excellent! I'm so happy that I was able to help you.

edit: Also, if you don't mind; would you kindly mark my response as the resolution/+1 and change the issue to 'Closed' or 'Resolved' ? Hopefully there are others who may benefit from this.
